haven’t seen this much snow since those awesome storms in the late 1970′s!! wow, 18 inches on our deck (see last pic below) – record measurements for the dc/northern virginia area!
life came to a screeching halt this weekend and it was great to know that we didn’t have to be anywhere (since we couldn’t actually get anywhere!). we could just hang out and do whatever we felt like. my kids spent about 12 hours every day since the “blizzard of 2009″ building snow forts, sledding, snowboarding and playing with their neighborhood friends.
